A couple of summers ago, I spent the summer teaching children english in Peru and the next summer I did the exact same thing in Mexico.
In my final year at university, I was a PASS Leader(Peer Assisted Student Sessions) where Leadership and teaching/mentoring students and organising sessions were part of a weekly schedule.
I have had experience teaching younger years whilst working abroad at an orphanage in Peru as well as in Mexico, younger years are fun and creative to inspire however I equally enjoy teaching students of all ages.
Whilst at University I was a student ambassador for all years attended as well as being a PASS Leader (for the final year of study) which comprised mentoring, communicating and helping other students work through exercises and assignments set on the Materials Engineering course.
The last couple of weeks whilst in Madrid I have travelled to many different parts of the city teaching English to professionals at businesses, online web classes as well as in one-to-one classes and in bars with students. What I've learnt is, no matter the age, all you need is to do is try and you will surely pick the language up quickly.
