GOOD and WELL (Often confused by native and non-native speakers)
- Good is an adjective - It describes nouns or pronouns. (person, place, thing, idea, or concept).
- Well is an Adverb - It describes verbs (sometimes adjectives) and is used with most other verbs. (describes HOW something is done).
Examples:
- The cake is so GOOD.
- It was a GOOD website.
- You sing the song very WELL.
- She played the piano WELL.
INCORRECT - You did the job good
Correct - You did the job well (well answers how)
