Lead by example..... How much lead is in that pencil?



The procession was led by his son……

Led – is the past simple and past participle for the verb to Lead.

'To lead' is present tense - 'to guide' or 'to go in front of' - pronounced LEED.

 

 Don’t confuse it with Lead



'Lead’ (pronounced 'led') is a heavy, soft, grey metal.
