Do you know how to use adverbs of degree?

We use Adverbs of degree express the intensity or degree of an action.

Common adverbs of degree:

ALMOST
NEARLY
QUITE
JUST
TOO
ENOUGH
HARDLY
SCARCELY
COMPLETELY
VERY
EXTREMELY

Adverbs of degree are usually placed:

Before the adjective or adverb they are modifying:
The cup of tea was extremely hot.
The film was nearly over.

Before the main verb:
They almost won the game.
He completely forgot about it.
I could hardly hear the teacher.
