P4 - tag questions
Use: Tag questions are used to verify if a statement is true or not. Something we use them in a sarcastic tone to make a strong point.
Tag Questions: A tag question is a short question added to the end of a positive or negative statement.
- You are from Spain, aren't you?
- You like music, don't you?
She is. isn't she?
He isn't. is he?
They are. aren't they?
They will. Won't they?
A positive statement is followed by a negative tag

You are tired, aren't you?
A negative statement is followed by a positive tag

You're not Spanish, are you?
Remember:
The statements are always separated by a comma (,)
The verb in the statement should be the same verb in the tag question
- He is right, isn't he?
- They will do it, won't they?
- I am early, aren't I ?
If the statement doesn't have an auxiliary verb then the auxiliary 'do' is used
- He finished the project, didn't he?
- She eats fish, doesn't she?
- He had a chocolate cake, didn't he?
