A trade delegation from Britain is heading to Paris this week in an effort to boost the increasing popularity of British food in France.
Since 2000, UK food exports to France have doubled from £1.1bn to £2.2bn, including quadruple the sales of cheese, such as stilton and cheddar, and triple the whisky and beer.
A team led by Environment Secretary Owen Paterson will meet the French food minister and accompany UK producers at the world's biggest food trade fair.
