Oxbridge and Ciball host first teacher's meeting

On the 3rd of November Oxbridge joined forces with CIBALL – A centre in Madrid developed as a meeting place for innovators associated with the network of New Technologies run by Madrid City Council – to hold a meeting called  Working Together, Sharing Experiences”.

The aim of this and future meetings is to create a community of English teachers from backgrounds such as public and private institutions, schools and academies, where they can meet and get to know each other, sharing their experiences related to English teaching.

Many teachers may think that textbook classes are not enough or they spend too many hours preparing with no support than their own research - or they just want to build regular connections with other like-minded teachers. Therefore, this is where Oxbridge aims to be the facilitator to all teaching professionals and to assist in offering advice and help towards these skills.

The meeting was an ideal platform for Oxbridge to explain their method. Those who attended listened and understood how Oxbridge works and how they teach in a completely different way to any other academy. Teachers were also able to share their issues with Oxbridge, understanding that there are other, different ways to teach.

In order for Oxbridge to help further and reduce the amount of planning time they offered their activities freely to external teachers. Asking them to go away and just try their activities to see how easy and simple they were and how affective they can be for a student at any age or level to achieve results.

Oxbridge plans to keep in touch with those who attended, to find out what they thought about their activities and to assist with any future planning. They would also like to see those teachers return to the next meeting and with opens arms they welcome others who also wish to attend. They are keen to share their teaching method and experiences to promote teaching the Oxbridge way.
