Racism in Football

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyHsvNsc4-Y

A Second Division Italian club, Pro Patria, have been made INFAMOUS by the actions of some their fans.

During a mid-season GLAMOUR friendly with AC Milan, some NEANDERTHALS in the crowd made a series of racist chants aimed at Milan’s players, especially Kevin Prince-Boateng, the former Spurs and Portsmouth player. The Ghana international took matters into his own hands 25 minutes in, picking up the ball and BOOTING it into the stand. He then walked off followed by both sets of players.
The stadium announcer is said to have made repeated APPEALS to the crowd to stop but to no avail.

On his way from the pitch, Boateng applauded sections of the crowd, who then reacted angrily towards the corner of the ground from which the chants came.

Milan coach, Massimiliano Allegri, told reporters that although they felt a stance had to be made, they were not AVERSE to returning to the Stadium in the future.

- Do you think Boateng was right to walk off the pitch?
- Have you ever heard racist chanting in a football match before?
- Do you think footballers should deal with insults, even racists ones, as its part of the game?
- Do you think fans should be allowed to sing and say whatever they want due to free speech?
- What do you think FIFA should do about this case?
- How would you combat racism in football?
