Do you know the difference between lend and borrow?

Borrow – to take something that belongs to somebody else. Example: Can I borrow your umbrella?

Lend – to give something to somebody that belongs to you/to lend someone something.  Example: I can lend you my umbrella.

NEVER – Can you borrow me your pen?

Use – Can I borrow your pen?
