I am rowing... subject + 'ing'

The present continuous

We use the present continuous to talk about actions in progress:

  • I am reading

  • I am swimming

  • I am eating


However, we can also use them when we express complaint: 



  • I am always eating 

  • He is always singing

  • He always sing - INCORRECT
