about agreeing thought. 



Also is used to add an extra idea or emphasis. "We also spoke about marketing."

 

 

Also after to be

  • I am also from London


Also with other verbs

  • I also agree that English is difficult


Also with modal verbs

  • I can also play the guitar


not only + also = emphasis

For example: "we are not only concerned by the sales, but also by the.....

In English, it is not normal to start a sentence with also

  • Also we spoke about the marketing strategy (incorrect)

  • In addition, we also spoke about the marketing strategy.
