Adverbs of time: already, still, yet, finally, eventually, soon, last, just

 

 

 

We normally use eventually before verbs:

  • He eventually remember the address

  • They eventually arrived at their destination

  • She eventually agreed to leave the room

  • It eventually got easier


Eventually is an adverb and it describes what happens in the end...

The students will eventually understand the subjunctive

Use eventually or in the end to say what the result or outcome of something was
